Price and payment

What is included in the rental price?

An e-bike, one battery with a charger and key, and technical servicing. You only pay extra for anything beyond normal wear and tear.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is made against an invoice, 1 month in advance.

Contract and terms

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum is 1 month. After that the contract renews automatically and you can end it at any time with 7 days' notice. Longer plans (3 or 12 months) cost less per month.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a refundable deposit of €200. We return it in full within 1 business day if the bike comes back undamaged.

What documents do I need to rent?

You must be 18 or older and provide a valid photo ID (passport or ID card), proof of address, a phone number, an e-mail address and your personal identification code. We do run a credit check.

Servicing and technical

Is servicing really included?

Yes: scheduled servicing every 4 weeks, brake pads, replacement of parts worn through normal use and the mechanic's labour involved. Normal and natural wear is included in the price. Deliberate damage and negligence are excluded, including physical damage from drops, impacts or road accidents.

What if the bike breaks down?

Let us know in the WhatsApp chat or by phone — servicing is included in the rental price. We repair it at the workshop within [30–60] minutes; if it takes longer, you get a replacement bike straight away. We respond within 24 hours.

How far does the bike go on one battery?

At an outside temperature from +20 °C and in pedal-assist mode, around 100 km; in winter, around 70 km. The final figure depends on the riding mode and riding style. If needed, we also rent out a spare battery.

Insurance and damage

Is the bike insured?

Theft and damage cover can be added for €2 per day — then, in the event of theft or a total loss of the bike, you only pay the €800 excess.

Which damages will I be charged for?

Brake and tyre wear from normal riding is free. Chargeable: broken plastic parts and display, bent frame and wheels, a lost battery, charger or lock.

What if the bike is stolen?

Tell us immediately, file a police report and send us the case number. Without theft cover you reimburse the bike's market value; with cover you only pay the excess.

Rules and riding

Do I need a licence, and how fast does the bike go?

E-bike: motor up to 250 W, assistance cuts out at 25 km/h — no licence, registration or compulsory insurance is needed, and you may ride in cycle lanes.
